Ineu is a town in Arad County, in western Romania. Ineu administers one village, Mocrea. 
According to unofficial figures, there are approximately 1 400 Roma citizens living in two communities, in both Ineu and Mocrea. 

Ineu Roma community is faced with issues such as property documents while in Mocrea, where about 350 live in illegal housing, there is no asphalt and no connection to the water network.

The ROMACT Process

ROMACT started in August 2020 with the signature of the Letter of agreement.

The Taskforce for Roma inclusion exists but is not yet formally approved by the Mayor. 

Local Authorities representatives were trained/coached on:

* Elaboration of local strategy plan
* Project management (certified training)
