On the 30 September, the campaign "A home for Simona" was launched online - an idea initated by the Community Action Group (CAG) in Alesd and put into practice with the support of the ROMACT Romania National Support Team.

On 9 September 2016, the Committee on Equality and Non-Discrimination of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) published a report on the promotion of the inclusion of Roma and Travellers, with a focus on access to education and employment.
