The Council of Europe is establishing a pool of experts in local governance and access to EU funding to work within the National Support Teams of the ROMACT Programme.

As mentioned in the Tender File and the article posted on 14/09/2015, the ROMED and ROMACT Secretariat provides answers to the questions posted by potential bidders.

The ROMED and ROMACT Programmes are launching a common call for tenders for the hosting, development, design and maintenance of the two websites.

Maja Grujić  works for World Vision in Bosnia and Herzegovina, an organization that supports the ROMED2 Programme in Bosnia and Herzegovina since its beginning in 2003. She has been on the of facilitators implementing the ROMED2 methodology in several municipalities in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The last ten years or her professional life has been focused on Roma- related programs.

What was biggest challenge within the ROMED2 Programme?

In Valea Seaca, the Roma are facing constant administrative difficulties resulting in a lack of identity documents, which essentially means that they do not “exist” administratively. 

The Community Action Group formed through the ROMED2 Programme in Giulesti (Bucharest 6th sector) was involved in the organization of an informal Roma women’s meeting at the Roma Culture Museum on 30 May 2015 - a round of exchanges with other initiative groups from Ferentari, Mizil, Spantov, Valea Seaca and Giurgiu.
