This report was prepared in light of the connections made by different stakeholders between the potential sustainability of housing projects for vulnerable populations and their engagement in social enterprises as sources of income generation.
Since 2015, Romania has created a legislative framework on social economy and measures have been implemented in order to increase the role of Social Economy Structures (SES) with EU funding support.
This report provides information on the situation of the SES in ROMACT municipalities, analyses the difficulties met at local level and suggests a number of possible solutions in order to ensure the sustainability of these structures.
