Description of the Municipality: 

Trikala is a city in northwestern Thessaly, Greece, and the capital of the Trikala regional unit. The Municipality consists of the city of Trikala and seven surrounding urban settlements. It covers a total area of 608.48 square kilometres. The Municipality of Trikala is the biggest of the four Municipalities of Regional Unit of Trikala constituting its largest urban centre which gathers all the basic economic, social, cultural and sports infrastructure and activities, but also demonstrates an intense agro-pastoral characteristics. 1
ROMACT process in the Municipality began February 2025 with the signature of the Letter of Commitment expected in April 2025.
ROMACT has provided support in facilitation of the identification of available funding opportunities to implement inclusive actions in the Municipality.
