Le programme ROMED a reçu le prix de l'Initiative Européenne de l'année 2013 pendant la 7e édition du Gala d'Excellence des Roms qui a eu lieu à Bucarest le 18 décembre dernier - journée internationale des droits des minorités. L'évenement a été organisé par le Gouvernement roumain, l'Agence nationale pour les Roms, et le parti des Roms "Pro Europe".

M Teodorovici, Ministre chargé des fond européens dans le gouvernements roumain a remis le prix à Mme Aurora Ailincai, coordinatrice de ROMED et ROMACT, programmes joints du Conseil de l'Europe et de la Commission européenne.

The ROMED Programme was awarded the prize for the European Initiative of the Year during the 7^th edition of the Roma Excellency Gala in Bucharest, which took place on 18 December - Minority Rights Day around the world. The event was organised by the Romanian Government, the Agency for Roma, and the “Pro Europa” Roma Party.

It was Mr Teodorovici, Minister for European Funds in the Romanian Government, who handed the award to Ms Aurora Ailincai, Coordinator of the ROMED and ROMACT Joint Programmes of the Council of Europe and European Commission.
