The ROMACT and ROMED and programmes were launched on Monday, 14 october 2013 in Albena, Bulgaria in the presence of Ms Zinaida Zlatanova, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Justice and Chair of the National Council for Cooperation on Ethnic and Integration Issues. Le 15 Octobre dernier les programmes ROMED2 et ROMACT ont été lancés à Bucarest. Ayant la plus grand population rom d'Europe, l'implémentation des programmes en Roumanie sera étendue de la moyenne de 5 à 6 municipalités dans d'autres pays participants (Bulgarie, Hongrie, Italie et Slovaquie) à 10 municipalités de différentes tailles dont Bucarest (6ème secteur), Botosani, Cluj et Calarasi.

After two years of implementation in 22 countries and over 1000 mediators trained, the ROMED2 Programme is about to be launched.
The new approach in ROMED2 is about building up the capacity of Roma communities to participate in democratic governance through mediation.
The countries of implementation for this new phase of ROMED are Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia and “the former Yugoslav republic of Macedonia”. In...
