Call for tenders for ROMACT National Coordinators in Bulgaria, Greece and Romania – Deadline – 6 January 2025

Within the framework of the Joint European Commission and Council of Europe ROMACT Programme, the Council of Europe is launching a call for tenders to engage up to nine (9) providers in Bulgaria, Greece, and Romania to serve as National Coordinators.

The aim is to establish a national support team comprising three (3) National Coordinators in each country (provided sufficient tenders meet the criteria outlined in the Tender File). The coordinators will be supporting the implementation of the project, focusing on Roma inclusion and capacity building at the local, regional, and national levels.

The deadline for submitting tenders is 6 January 2025 at 16:00 (CET).

Calls for tenders for the provision of event management services in Bulgaria and Greece – Deadline: 13 October 2024

These calls for tenders are launched within the Council of Europe and the European Union Joint Programme ROMACT and concern the provision of accommodation, meeting room/conference packages, catering, reimbursement of travel costs of event participants, logistical and technical organisation of ROMACT events in Bulgaria and Greece (as two separate calls).

Children in situations of vulnerability: evaluations, problems and proposed solutions – Conference in Piatra Neamt, Romania

On 23 May 2024, the conference on “Children in situations of vulnerability: evaluations, challenges and proposed solutions” will take place in Piatra Neamț, Romania, organised by the Roma and Travellers Division of the Council of Europe and the Joint Programme of the European Union and Council of Europe - ROMACT “Building capacity for Roma Inclusion at Local Level”.

Public Discussion in Bulgaria on Children left behind: between labour migration, institutional standards and extended family

On 12 December, in Sofia, the Council of Europe – European Commission Joint Programme  ROMACT and the Bulgarian Ombudsperson’s office are organizing a public discussion on children left behind by parents going abroad for work.

The Council of Europe is organising a call for proposals for support organisations in Bulgaria and Romania.

Call for proposals - Grant for organizations to support democratic participation and Roma inclusion at local level in Bulgaria - Deadline 24 October 2022

This call for proposals is launched in the framework of the Council of Europe Strategic Action Plan for Roma inclusion (Supporting democratic participation and promoting public trust and accountability). 
It aims to co-fund national projects aimed at assisting with the implementation of the ROMACT methodology in two (2) target countries, with the ultimate aim of building up political will and understanding of Roma inclusion at local level.
