Mr. Marcel Goldenberg, the mayor’s councilor for minorities, from Botoșani City Hall, Mr. Dorin Burlacu director of the Local Public Social Assistance Service, Mr. Mugurel Fllutur , director of SC Locativa SA – the institution that manages the social housing facilities and the Local Police sent the action plans according to their responsabilities and the domains they manage – health, education, housing, justice and public order
 

3. What were the main points of discussion/ agenda?: 

17 th of November 2015 
In order to draft the Plan of Measures for 2016 concerning the Social Inclusion of the Roma I have worked with Mr. Marcel Goldenberg, the mayor’s councilor for minorities, from Botoșani City Hall. On the 17th of November 2015, I sent a request to the institutions subordinated to the Local Council to plan the actions aimed at improving the situation of the Roma for the year 2016, according to Government Decision no. 18/2015, the Strategy of the Government of Romania for the Inclusion of the Romanian Citizens Belonging to Roma Minority for the period 2015-2020.
Thus, the Local Public Social Assistance Service, SC Locativa SA – the institution that manages the social housing facilities and the Local Police sent the action plans according to their responsabilities and the domains they manage – health, education, housing, justice and public order.
In the plan were included activities aimed at improving the situation of the Roma community, including the Roma in Parcul Tineretului area in the above mentioned domains and the commitment of the City Hall to collaborate with the Community Action Group within the ROMACT programme aiming at developing funding projects for the Roma community.
 

4. What were the main decisions /conclusions taken by the end of the meeting?: 

The plan was proposed during the regular meeting of the Local Council in December 2015.

6. Is there any expert support necessary (within ROMACT aims)?: 

I add the fact that at the level of the county, a plan of measures has been compiled aimed at facilitating the social inclusion of the Roma, including for the Roma in the Municipality of Botoșani, that, besides the measures mentioned in the local action plans, it also include measures proposed by other county authorities such as the County Child Protection Directorate, the County Employment Agency, the County School Inspectorate. This plan of measures will be sent for approval to the County Council of the County of Botoșani in December 2015.
