The ROMACT Handbook will assist local stakeholders in improving the life of all citizens living in your municipality, including the Roma.
It will help local administration and active citizens in objectively assessing what needs to be done in their municipality, assist them in planning actions together with all those concerned, and show them how to translate these plans into concrete measures, and when needed - how to access and use the EU and other fundings for that purpose.
It will also assist them in complying with duties imposed by international conventions and national laws.
This handbook describes the method of the ROMACT Programme. Although it is focused on the inclusion of marginalised Roma, it is also relevant for other vulnerable people.
Applying the ROMACT process will be hard work but it will lead to positive change, not only for the local Roma, but also for the entire municipality.
The revised version of the Handbook is available in English, Bulgarian and Romanian here.
