The last Roma Civil Society Monitoring Report on implementation of the National Roma Integration Strategy was recently published. This initiative of the European Parliament, supported by the European Commission, is implemented with the participation of over 90 diverse NGOs from the EU member states. This second monitoring cycle is focusing on progress made in key policies areas such as education, employment, healthcare and housing. The report on Romania contains a set of recommendations as well as three case studies demonstrating the positive impact of given projects to support the implementation of the Roma Strategy at local level. It comprises presentations of ROMACT impact in Tarnaveni and Marasesti.
