Following a call for expression of interest, 9 local authorities institutions in Germany and Sweden have been selected to organise intercultural or mediation training provided by ROMACT trainers.
The latest will deliver taylor- made training to a wide range of municipal staff including municipality staff, social workers, police, health professionals and educational staff during a one-day session.
38 training will be implemented between October 2018 and February 2019 in Berlin, Lippe, Hamburg, Essen, Wuppertal, Aachen, Gelsenkirchen, Freiburg and Uppsala. They take place in the framework of ROMACT Transnational Cooperation Component and aim at developing the capacity of local authorities in better integrating marginalised people, in particular non-nationals of Roma ethnicity.
