After a first session on project management and European Structural and Investment Funds accessing process in the view of Roma inclusion in January in Tecuci, a new capacity building training was organised from 11 until 13 March in Buzau.
Relevant municipal staff from Buzau, Ramnicelu, Ramnicu Sarat, Calarasi, Bucuresti, Vernesti, Botosani, Calvini, Medgidia and Cumpana were invited to develop their knowledge and skills necessary for the design and implementation of projects. From project design to planning and evaluation, the 30 participants also had a chance to work in smaller groups on case-studies and apply tools introduced in the training programme.
“The training programme focused on real problems that we meet. All expectations I had were met. The training programme managed to capture my attention, focused on practical application, to the point. I have learnt a lot of things” said one participant.
The training ended with a theoretical and practical test which allowed participants to receive a certificate issued by the Ministry of Labour of Romania.
Participants will now implement their newly acquired knowledge in ROMACT municipalities and design projects in line with Local Action Plans for Roma inclusion, with the help of ROMACT experts.
