Questions and answers

Q
What is exactly meant by: “a given visit can concern one or more municipalities (in one or more countries) of origin but ROMACT will only fund visits to municipalities of origin. Visits from municiaplities of origin to receiving municipalities of non-national marginalised groups will not be supported by this component of ROMACT”.

A
ROMACT will only fund visits to municipalities of origin, not to receiving municipalities. For instance, representatives of a French municipality could visit a municipality in Romania but representatives of a Romanian municipality will not be entitled to visit a French municipality.

Q
“Can an application result of a partnership of several municipalities or should each municipality have its own application/ draft of the study visit?”

A.
Joint application of several municipalities is possible provided that approach is accurately explained and expected results and benefits presented in the application.

Q
What is exactly meant by bank statement in the requested documents to be submitted?

A.
Bank statement is used to prove that an applicant is not “in a situation of bankruptcy, liquidation, termination of activity, insolvency or arrangement with creditors or any like situation arising from a procedure of the same kind, or are subject to a procedure of the same kind”. Bank statement is a printed record of the balance in a bank account and the amounts that have been paid into it and withdrawn from it, issued periodically to the holder of the account.

Q
In the application form there is only one part for the applicant / contact details / bank details / professional capacity etc.
Concerning the fact we are two partners, how do we have to fulfill the form ?

A
The applicant that will sign the grant agreement, if selected, should fill in this part of the application form, including contact and bank details.
